digital recorder to computer

I have a Fostex MR-8. After recording onto its compact flash I can transfer files to my PC. Is there software which would enable further editing, maybe add tracks, then burn a CD? Thanks.

Talking

I use "Cakewalk Music Creator Pro". I will dump CFC into my hard drive then import audio into Cakewalk tracks then go back and record again on MR8 keeping one track as a scratch track so the time will stay in sync. Adding tracks as needed.
