In expensive midi avenues

Hey I am looking for a afordable way to get into midi so far i have a soundblaster midi hookup cable saved acouple of dolars there, but am still looking for a inexpensive program keep in mind that i want to also sequence drums. I have n-track cool edit pro sound forge xp 4.5 and the afore mentioned sound blaster card (im getting a new card soon).

An older version of CW would go a long way toward satisfying your MIDI needs. Version 5 is really good enough.
