Reason version 1

Can anyone direct me to website which has maybe a downloadable manual or hints and tips for Reason? The propellerhead website is useless.

The pc I bought had ver 1 already on it, and every book I can find is for ver 2 or higher. All Propellerhead is interested in is selling you the upgrade.

if you hunt inside the directories on your PC where reason is installed, you should find two manuals that you can print, one is the start up manual, the other is more detailed. At least I had those in my copy.

I wish, but the "Getting Started" manual is fairly good. It should be a PDF file in the main Reason directory on your C drive, if you don't hvae it, let me know and I will send it to you

Thanks mate. I think the fast track reason book should be ok for Ver1. The two are quite simmilar. I got the demo for the newest version(whatever that is) and it is almost identical. There're just a few more features on ver2. I just don't want to shell out money for it. I'm a tight fisted git you see.
