compressor for drums

ive been asking around a lot and ive been told that dbx has some good compressors. i have till tomarrow to make a desicion on what i want. and im going to go with it i think. but i wanted to hear anyones inputs. thanks!

You've started 3 threads on drum compression. As people said in the other thread it will do a good job. I've yet to find compression to be what makes or breaks a kick sound but maybe that's just me.

the old 166's sound much better than the 266xl. You can get them on ebay for pretty cheap.

Just go buy yourself a couple Universal Audio 1176s and at least 1 LA-2 and you'll have it just about covered.
