People,
Every so often (in SONAR XL 2.2), my dropout indicator light comes on (as I hit the Play button on the Transport), but the app does not dropout. It continues to run & play audio as though there were no problem at all. What's up with that? Thanks, mark4man |

Have you set "StopIfStarved=1" in the aud.ini file?

moskus,

How is this accomplished . . . but I guess a more appropriate question would be: Why (as in, why isn't it automatic?) Thanks, mark4man |

But... maybe it's me, but I fail to see the problem.
If the playback continues, then it's okay, isn't it? ![]()

If playback continues, why is the dropout light coming on?

This is my thoughts on the topic. I have expereinced the same thing. I think the drop out is happening quick enough for cakewalk to recover the audio stream and continue play back. You are just seeing the visual indication of the drop out. But like moskus said.
