PAtch Changes From SONAR

I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer about this. I'm using SONAR 2.0, For some reason, bank/patch changes to external gear are not going through. I'm wondering if I may have (mal)adjusted something. This stopped happening all of a sudden, I used to be able to change banks/patched from SONAR just fine.
Now when I play back midi tracks, I can only change the patch from the sound module.(Using am Alesis Nanoverb/NanoPiano, Boss DR5 and Roland M-VS1.)

Any suggestions/troubleshooting tips?

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm.... strange. I assume everything else works? Or not, have you checked your cables (always a good idea)?

Lightbulb

You might change the instrument deffinition assigned to the port you used. Go Options --> Instrument, and make sure your ports (left field) match the instruments hooked (right field). Some devices use different method of changing bank/patch. Assigning right port to the right instrument will ensure SONAR uses right method of changing MIDI bank/patch to the instrument.
