new to Sonar 2
I'm a new Sonar user and I have 2 questions:
1. When I record from electric guitar through my input (Delta 44) the recording levels are always very low. I have turned everything I can find up but it is still very quite, almost inaudible. Someone who doesn't know the software said I must record through an amp if I'm not using a mic. Is this correct? 2. I have a midi connection from a keyboard to my computer. When I play the recording the music comes out of my keyboard speakers and not my computer monitors. Is there an easy fix? thanks, Duce |

The 44 has line level inputs, you need a preamp to normalize the guitar signal to match line level voltage. 2. I have a midi connection from a keyboard to my computer. When I play the recording the music comes out of my keyboard speakers and not my computer monitors. Is there an easy fix? MIDI is not audio. Its only a communications interface/protocol that can remotely control MIDI equipment by sending information to a device to tell it what notes to play. You need to read up on MIDI. http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip...di-basics.html |
