Mixed Sample Rates In One Project

Will this work in SONAR? I have some drum tracks that were recorded at 24bit 44.1k and wanted to know if I would be able to record audio at 24bit 96k in the same project?

Thanks,
Scott

P.S. - Also...I don't think I would ever do this...but...can you mix bit rates in the same project?

Convert your audio the neccessary sample rate before you import. That would solve the problem, if the input signal of your soundcard is digital with an external master clock, you cannot do it. If you are coming in analog, you can do that by converting and importing all the existing waves first in a new project.

Bit rate is a little flexible than sample rate, you can mix them in a project, it wont affect, but if sample rate is messed up you either can see the wave a little shorter in time, or you would experience pitch shift.
