is my sound card fit for recording

Thanks Dragon for the immediate response. I forgot to ask you about my sound card maybe you can give me an idea if my sound card is fit for recording. Well this is the specification of my sound card. My sound card brand is Opti, 16 bit- stereo,full dupflex, built in stereo amplifier 4 watt per channel,plug and play & direct sound standard, wave audio, single chip multi media audio system etc. Can this sound card satisfy the requirement. If not can you tell me what brand of soundcard can i use. Thanks again
