DM24 Question

Hello,

I just purchased a DM24. I will be connecting it with my DAW through the yet-to-be-released FiWi option. However untill that is released I have 2 Roland VSR's recorders feeding on the input channels' inserts.

Now, I've been reading a bit about the machine controll on the DM24. But I'm not sure I fully understand it.

Anyone know if there is a way to control the transport/record arm functions from the VSR's (Synced together using MTC)? Not a big problem if it can't do it. But it would certainly be handy.
