in the ISO booth, how dead should the room be? and the drum room has floor carpet, high celings (vaulted)should i use foam baffels everywhere, behind the board, on the walls , or i've heard to drape sound blankets in stratiegic places,drum room is 18'x18', and the iso is 8'x8' HELP!!!!!!!!thanxCj

I think it's just a matter of preference. Experiment and see what sound you like the best. Record the drums in the room with no acoustic treatment and throw a couple of mics way up that vaulted dome.
