Creative Extigy HELP

Anyone have any problems with this soundboard?
I got a 2.0 USB, 64-bit PCI slot...
1.2 Celeron 400mhz FBS...
512mb SD ram
120.0 gig WD HD
a 12 gig HD for sys files
Harman/Kardon HK395 speakers...

i dont know if its my CPU speed or what, but i get a couple clips here and there...nothing SERIOUS, but i was just wandering what was going on...

anyone have a EXTIGY and records vocals? i dont produce beats or anything...

anyone have any INSIGHTS for tha Extigy?

i dont have a mixer or anything, i do everything on my PC, Soundforge ACID PRO 4.0, and COOLEDIT 2.1

it says 24/96 on tha box...i dunno if that accepts into recording as well...

help with EXTIGY!

What exactly is the problem? If it's clipping then turn down the input level.

Is the DR20 a high impedance mike? Usually you need a mic preamp to power a mic and the Extigy does not have one. The mic input can be used for high impedance 'computer mics' but they are not very good quality.
