im planning out updates and pretty much the backbone of a home studio that will be erected in the next year slowly as the money comes in, and excel is telling me that we are reaching almost $4000, past it with tax.. whew... have about $1800 covered and that is without the other band members. this is painful.

Man. When I first started, I dropped $5kUS on building materials for a control room and huge iso-booth in my home studio in the two car garage. I don't know if it was worth making the rooms first without any equipment to put it in. But now, I'm glad I did. Otherwise, I would have never done built it since I'm a equipment junky now. Of course, I still like to record a lot of things in the living room all depending on the instrument, it's sound, the sound I want, and the style of music.
