Cool Edit Pro

I was wondering if cool edit pro can be used as a multi-tracker? Like can you record kick on track 1 and snare on track 2 and hi-hat on track 3 all at the same time on different tracks? I know that this is possible in pro tools, but I was unsure if it is possible in cool edit pro 2.0.

Yes, CEP2 is a multitrack recording software, works just like protools with a few differences.

Of course, I'm baffled as to why somebody would spend $300 on software if they didn't know what it would do...but I'll assume you're merely CONSIDERING using CEP, lol.
