Pora one help......

Just won a Tascam porta one on ebay.Everything worked fine for a few days now the cassette deck wont respond and the cassette seems to be stuck in play mode but not turning.So my tape is stuck in there!Any ideas??

I'm not sure if the porta one is belt driven or not but it could be the belt or something more serious like an electronics problem. If you bought it real cheap, you may wanna consider having TASCAM taking a look at it.

Ebay can be a great place to purchase used and in great working condition gear BUT sometimes things don't go as planned. You may wanna contact the seller and tell him your concern and hopefully he'll resolve it asap. Do you stll have that link to the auction ?

Opened it up and moved the flywheel which disengaged the play mechanism.Works fine now!........Thanks.
