Tell me what you think!

This is a new gospel group I am recording. This particular song is just the choir and musicians. To me it is the one that needs the most improvement. I will post some of the better ones with lead singers later. It's under NEW GENERATION. Please, dont spare my feelings, tell me what I need to do to improve it. Thanks.

This music is about the words

That choir should blow everything else away. Bring them way up in the mix and let them overshadow the instruments.

the grt intro sounds very Steve Howe to me, thumbs up there

the toms stick out, too hot

the snare sounds flat

very dynamic instumentation, cool

dittos on bringing the choir up

good work!

Bass seems a little much to me...but not TOO overkill.
I would just bring it down a bit.

The overall sound otherwise sounds very nice!

Bass drum makes my speakers pop....i'd bring it down a couple notches. Not my style but other than that other than that mix sounds good.

Thanks guys. The clients love the low end, and on most speakers I have auditioned these songs on, the kick and bass work pretty good together. I will crank the choir. Any other sudgestions?
