replacing kick?

Can you replace a kick drum with a sampled kick in CEP?

If CEP can use VST plugs then you can use Drumagog...

I don't think it can

I would like to use a sample of a kick drum from a jimmy eat world song if that is possible.

Actually I just checked.... Drumagog is Direct-X, not VST - so it should work...!

Correct, drumagog is a drectx plugin, and can be used in CEP. I use it on regular basis in CEP. The neat thing about the plugin is that it can follow the dynamic of the source sample.

It definately works. Make sure you refresh the effects list in Waveform view > Effects > Refresh effects.

Hope I could be of service.

this is pretty cool, but I am not sure the kick drum that comes with the demo is what I need. Is it hard/ easy to put in your own sounds?

I would think it would be easy to do. Simply record a wave of the drum you want and cut it off to the desired length.

Hi..if all you're trying to do is put a kick from a commercial cut into your tune, you probably need to bring one of J.E.W.'s tunes into the multitrack...one that has an isolated kick hit somewhere in it, then just split that puppy out from the song and start looping it; "voila'" -- New kick.

And just to make sure, you understand this is completely illegal, right?
