CEP Audition And My Next Step.....

I ust wanted to chat a bit on the subject of Cool Edit versions and the Machines were running on ect.
I just Got a Celeron 500 with 128 mb and two hard drives.
I was a friends a came with CEP 2.0 And Sound forge ect.
I have been using CEP 1.x on a PII 350 64MB And one drive for five years roughly.
Im not sure how much of an upgrade I have Made?????
I am thinking of buying a Celeron 2.4ghz and bringing the ram up to 512 or a gig. I will Have two drives 40 and an 80 gig (maxtor or nothing!)............ And I am thinking of getting Adobe Audition.
So my question is Have I made a decent upgrade to the Cel500 and CEP2.0? And Is my Upgrade to The 2.4ghz and Audition Worth While???????

And I wanna hear Experiances with all sorts of configerations..............

Yes, you've made an upgrade.

and Yes, you'll benefit immensly from buying a faster computer, though a PIV at 2.2 will serve you better than a celeron
