Sync

Is anyone syncing their ADAT with any other equipment (that doesn't use the ADAT sync cable)?
I'd like to to use either wordclock or MMC to sync my LX's up to both keyboard and computer-based sequencers and ultimately use my board as the master control for all.
I'm unfamiliar with how these sync formats work, so ...
Any ideas on which (WC or MMC) would give that functionality? And any ideas on what gear would be needed to pull it off?
It looks like Tascam MDMs have this ability out of the box, but I don't think ADATs do. So what's the magic box to do either WC or MMC?

Hmmm the BRC looks like the answer. But, do you know of any other options that won't take up that much desk space? Also, this board is supposed to be able to function like an autolocator,so I'm thinking that maybe just a rack mounted unit that would offer the same connections, but allow the board to be the master. I'm a little out of my element talking about syncing stuff, so maybe a dedicated unit like the BRC is a better option. It would probably be more straightforward to set up.

I use an Opcode 64xtc to sync-up my ADAT-XT, TSR-8, computer sequencer, and 16-ch. Mega Mix outboard VCAs. I bought it about 6 months ago? from Mission Recording A/V (no longer a music dealer) for about $340US.

I agree. If you're multitrack medium is ADAT or ADAT, DAW, and sequencer based, then the BRC is the way to go.
