Any good use for SR-16 MIDI?

Hi,

This is the first question I have ever sent to Home Recording, I'm sure it won't be my last. Has anyone used the MIDI on an Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and if so for what?

Oh ya, MIDI. There's probably more applications than this but.......I've used the sr16 to drive the tremelo,delay etc. in a lexicon mpx 100,to drive the drum patches in a nano snyth,synced with a boss 770 for sound stacking and to record midi clock into a korg d-8 so the recorder will drive other midi gear.It's more trouble than it's worth most of the time due to all the programing but you can get some interesting sounds
