Question

Maybe I'm just silly, but I have had no success in getting VST plug-ins to work with the latest version of n-track. I have created a "VST" directory, told n-track that directory was for VST plug-ins, and installed VST plug-ins there. When I go to my effects menu, the VST effects are not there. Is there a step I am missing, or have I just been silly somewhere along the way? Thanx.

Wink

It sure looks like you have done everything right. But just in case, open the preferences in n-track to make sure your VST path is correct. I had a problem like this at first and that is what it was. The path was actually right but browesing for it once more fixed it somehow.(maybe I'm just a goof?)

I know it doesn't sound like much but give it another check just to be sure.

After I had went back and browsed for the vst path again there was no more problem.

Hope it solves it for you!

Nope, that didn't work either. I'll try the n-track board at fasoft, I guess... Dern plug-ins.

I've got a feeling that some VST plugins may not be compatible. I can get some to work while I can't get others to work. My Fruity Loops reverb doesn't work for example... but my Blue Reverb does.... go figure!

Eureka!

Note to everyone else -- To get my VST plug-ins to work, I had to make my n-Track directory my VST directory and install everything there. Compression is very nice... Now if I can get LoopAZoid to work.
