After several hours of tinkering last night with about 8 tracks and several effects with no problems, I woke up this morning with anticipation for more learning.

However, after recording about 3 tracks with no effects, I started getting problems on playback with the error message about increasing buffering, reducing the number of tracks/effects, etc. How could this be? What changed? What does changing the buffering do?

I have a brand new dedicated DAW, PIII 450 with 128 megs of ram so I can't imagine lack of power is the issue here.

Help!
Phil
