why does N-tracks hate my Layla

I have the registered N-tracks. the 24 bit version. I have a Layla that I picked up yesterday. I am being told all over the place that I have no output device. Meters flash and all as if recording. but playback is out of the question. I did the full duplex test, it thinks life is good. I was able to record a few tracks on the cool edit pro, so I know things are booted up. I tried every single configuration as far as record and playbacks with N-traks, nothing but frustrations. Anyone have a clue?

I thought I had responded to this message...hmm. Anyway, this sounds like a problem that needs to be fixed very quickly. If so, I'd recommend posting it at www.fasoft.com for the fasted and more reliable advice on n-Track.
