Think I'd "lose the groove?"

For my next recording project, I'm thinking of programming the drums, recording all the other instruments, and then having a drummer track after all that, replacing the programmed drum track (my cousin/drummer lives 1500 miles away).

Cons? Pros?

If he can play to a click track then it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you have a basic click track for the drummer to record with and not just the sequenced drums.

I think he'd do fine following the click track...
