2 songs to critique

http://web.tampabay.rr.com/msteenba/music.html

"I Think of You" and "Roman Holiday" were both mixed in Sonar 3.

Roman Holiday is a rough demo. I Think Of You is a bit further along.

Give me some feedback, please. I've been doing this for 6 months, so I can use input. Thanks.

You should post these in the MP3 clinic forum. You will get more attention there.

I listened to both songs.
I couldn't understand all the lyrics to the songs - could you post them?

Roman Holiday-
Good song, I like the concept. The piano solos are cool too (although you can't hear the first one quite as well). It might be justa bit repetative. You may want to experiment with some different chord changes or whatever to get some variety in there. Maybe if you put one of the solos towards the beginning??

Think of You-
I like the songwriting in this one better. THat's a kickass guitar solo. There's a good variety in the song as well. I like the drum patterns, and the guitar riffs.
I can't think of anything to improve as far as song writing goes. Good length.

If your curious how your mixes sound, after you get input on the songwriting, post it in the mp3 mixing clinic.

So when you say you've been at it for 6 months are you talking about recording or songwriting?
