tracktion

Hi all,

I have just begun using this program called Tracktion and cannot recommend it more. It is a sequencer with audio, rewire, vst, dxi etc etc, freeze functionality, pdc blah blah its got the lot and it cost me £50 (about $80USD).

Amazingly it is dead easy to use and is very fast, whcih is why i swear by it.

I agree completely. Tracktion is amazing. The guy who developed it, Jules Storer, did an outstanding job, and he upgrades it constantly. I've been in the software industry for 12 years and Tracktion is one of few truly superb applications I've encountered. And now it's distributed by Mackie. Mackie is featuring Tracktion on their main web page and bundling it with Spike.

I recently discovered Sawstudio.

I can't afford it, but I'm blown away by the online video demonstrations of it. I keep watching them for entertainment.





What really impresses me is the hand coded assembly language that streamlines everything into a instantaneously responsive virtual recording studio.

Just do it, it's done. Voila!
