Hi,
is anyone using m-audio 410 firewire with their sonar to record? I was planning on getting this, but the guy at the store said that he didn't think it would work well with sonar... didn't quite understand his explanation... i'm using sonar 2.2xl on a 1.7gig 256ram laptop.... for the moment i'm using a tiny minidisk microphone to record everything which is getting me by at the moment (the sound quality isn't bad actually surprisingly).. but i'm wanting to get an interface..... i'm just wanting to record a few instruments at a time (2-3) and vocals... and i'd like something with low latency... any recommendations? USB / soundcards / etc... ? i'm under the impression that soundcards are for desktops???.... advice much wanted... thanks... |

I dont have one, but it should work fine with Sonar. Also consider the Motu 828, I bet it works with sonar for sure. I've used it so manytimes and never had a problem. Try it on ebay you may get it for the price of M-audio

As far as I know the RME Hammerfall is the best option for laptop users. But it's gonna cost you an arm and a leg...
