Sonar XL...Echo?

I open Sonar and minutes after playing and recording, an echo sounds everytime I hit a key. I don'tknow if it's echo or not, but it's like the same key sounding twice. I've tried everything and the only thing that cures the problem is by restarting Sonar.
I have an Alesis Keyboard Interfaced with my PC Soundcard.

Anyway, could you please explain your setup and PC specs ?
Specialy how do you route your MIDI setup ?

Are you using the sound from Alessis, or internal synth/DXi ?

I run Sonar on Windows XP, Audigy Soundcard with audio cable and MIDI interface connected to the Alesis
And yes, I'm using the sound from the Alesis keyboard.
I also noticed that the longest I use Sonar without restarting it, the more apart the echo becomes. The sound is not that long apart, maybe a fourth of a second.
