Hello everyone,
I'm looking to get started home recording. I have just got a gift of cubase and I'm wondering what kind of sound card to buy to get started. I would like to record both acoustic (with preamp) and electric guitar. What do you recommend. I'm looking to spend around 100 euro. Thanks, Pukeohontas |

If you really want a good soundcard for recording I recommend the audiophile 24/96, but that one costs 250 euro.
It's worth it though. It was my first soundcard too and it still is. I have no idea what 100 euro soundcard will do the job, if any.. If you're even half serious about recording I'd suggest you wait a while untill you got some more money to spend. Good luck. |

Thanks for the advice, I'll just have to get it so. Where's the cheapest place to get it? I'm based in Dublin, but I can always get delivery.
