What's up wit this mix?

I know that the mix is not perfectly insync and all, but why does it sound so damn muddy?

I EQ'd a lot on bass but don't know what's up. I used my Bass POD. and the drums are samples from Drum Kit From Hell



and yes I know I can't sing, notice the effects to cover up my weak voice...hehhehe

The bass doesn't actually sound muddy here but, it does sound about 2 db to loud in the mix. Maybe try just lowering its fader in the mix rather then eq'ing around with it any further.

The song itself has some interesting moments and the vocals are not as bad as you think they are.

I liked some of the keyboard sound FX that were floating about in the mix and the string pad sounded nice and clear. It added a nice layer to the sound-scape.

The drumming needs a little more then sync! But, "sync issues" is a good way of putting it!

You were right, the bass did need to be lowered and it worked out great!
