Thanks for taking the time to listen.
Yes the songs a joke.
The sax is my guitar synth and the drums are just a Boss Dr770 but triggering and using the drum sounds from a Roland V-Drum module. The animals are also done with guitar synth but hooked to a Yamaha EX5R Sampling sound module. Thanks again |

hey, nice vocals and I like the piano playing, too. A little reverb on the piano maybe? Your voice reminds me of that guy from Phish a bit, but you can sing better
I would like to hear this song with more dynamic. Some volume change on the drums will give you a good start, I think. Al |

Nice warm sound. Good singing voice. Smooth harmonies. Nice chord progression.
Melodically it sounds a lot like Elton John's "Levon" (in spots). Lyrically OK I guess. Lots of repitition, and if you hadn't set it up I wouldn't have known what point you were trying to get across. (right-winger's head's are made of wood and the step in crap a lot right?). Little pops at :38 and 2:37 - sounded like a cut and paste thing. Vocal syncing issues at 1:06 and 1:42. My thoughts... |

Funny. I don't see how people are fooled by V drums and synth sax but oh well.
I kinda hate the fake instruments so I will just avoid them altogether, they aren't the worst I've heard but I guess this was just a quick joke tune so I can relate. The progression could use some life, it needs a twist of some sort to liven it up. The vocals are the really nice part of this song. I think they could use a bit of cut in the low mids to get them to sit better. |

This joint was so cleeeeeanly recorded that I could detect every nuance of your excellenty perf'd vocals. Drum's sizzled 'specially those tite-@ss hi-hat's and snare. Git was bright and well-rounded (great mic technique).
Truly hilarious,enjoyable and solid! |

harmonies are sweet, funny schtuff
the piano and the vox are at odds tonally, piano eq high (and maybe a little too hot), vox eq muddy (next to the piano) but hey, just a quick fun tune enjoyed |

Long thread, so I'm just gonna skip the replies and listen.
Great vox and piano. Nice drum sound. Good mix. Hell, you can't ask for much more out of a song than this. Listening to all these is giving me the itch to write something, but I'm waiting for my Cubase SX 2 upgrade. VST 5 is flaking out on me. Time to join the modern world again. Nice, funny song. Love the pig samples! Another song that reminds me of Ween. Great fade out. Excellent song. I wish I had you singing on my stuff, man! Wonderful! Piltdown Man
