Software question

Cubase sx allows me to Automatically record different versions without stopping.Ex. - I can record over measures 4-6 over and over and have all the versions in a drop down.
Does any of the other (Less expensive) programs do this ?

N-Track Studio ( www.ntrack.com ) will do it. Try out the demo.

digital performer does this as well- not as cheap though.
