fd8 and drum machine or effects

anyone had any experience using a drum machine and or adding external effects to tracks on misdown with the fd8? (i'm going from the fd8 to a philips cd burner)

I use a BOSS DR550 drum machine with my FD-8. I just plug direct to the recorder and it sounds pretty good.

I also use a Boss VF-1 multi-effects unit for mixdown. Although I still want another effects unit so I can put different effects on each send.

I dont know want your looking for, but this is the place to find it.
