Midi Track/VSTi monitoring in Cubase SE3

Hey dudes and dudesses.. I recently noticed a problem within the Cubase SE3 when I try playing a VST Instrument and don´t hear any sound when palying.. but after I record something on the midi track I can hear everything.. this just doesn´t help so much. I didn´t have this problem before and I´m now wondering why in the world would this be happening..

The midi runs in with no porblems and the tracks are set right. But no output from the VST instrument while recording or just jamming..

Do you have the VSTi selected as the Output for your midi track?? Is there anything in the VSTi control panel that got turned off??

I thought I was the last surviving user of SE3. Unfortunatley, I don't use midi too much.

Thanks for the quick reply.. I don´t use midi that much either but now I just feel like playing some organs.. all the setting´s are fine.. I suppose I couldn´t hear anything even from playback if the settings were somehow off.. but obviously something´s terribly wrong. I just wonder.

I got it working.. just had to go through some midi preferences and set the midi thru correct again. But thanks for help anyways. ....quick mofo´s..
