I get that. What I meant was, it would sound better a little tighter. Or at least with a little more low end. The stomp is what's driving the beat, I feel it should be more solid.

The vocals are very loud, they're burying everything else. They also vary greatly in volume. The drums and bass are too soft. The guitars sound dull, did you roll of a lot of the the highs?

Like everyone has already mentioned, bring up the guitars, bring down the drums. Can't hear the guitar properly, but I suspect it sounds a little dull. Everything else I really liked. The slurred vocals, I like it. Definitely goes with the song

Tune it like you would a tom. Are you putting anything inside it? I see people putting in pillows and even sleeping bags to deaden it, but I think a little boom in the kick makes the drum track sound more natural. Try to get it sounding right before trying to fix it with EQ.

Thanks for the reply Jonny. Usually I have an amp running on GR, with a few of the GR effects. Sometimes I'll use just a reverb unit and it'll still be mono. Is there any way around this? I don't want to add GR to every single guitar track, it slows down my PC.

So I'm using Guitar Rig 5 with Reaper. I have 4 guitar tracks, all under one folder, for convenience. The problem is, when I turn on GR on that folder, all the tracks in that folder become centered. I know I'm missing something obvious :spank: , what is it? Thanks :thumbs up:

If you plan on buying cymbals, hats, a kit, and heads, $600 isn't a lot. I agree with ermghoti. I have a Rockstar with Sabian cymbals too, and I haven't felt the need to change it ever. Nice heads tuned properly should get you any sound you need. Your cymbals though, are another story. B8s are...
