No, the mic is to record flute and violin and some vocals.. And those don't have distortion :D

Ok. But now I'm also buying a mixer and 2 mic's, so I don't have enough money for the moment for a new one.. And I can get the joystick-port-to-midi cable for free (just like a my other cables.. :p ) So I'll have to wait.. And in the meantime, I'll just have to use my old card.. And btw...

I've read this somewhere: I have a soundblaster-type card in my pc with a joystick-port.. Do I just have to plug the cable into the joystick-port and into the midi in and output? Or do I also need some midi-recording software to make this work..?
