Hi y'all, I'm about to buy a digital multitrack but my ultimate aim is to master and burn my own CDs at home (to send out as demos) without (a) going to a mastering studio or (b) buying a mastering processor (like TC Finalizer). I'll probably be recording in 24 bit on a Korg D-16 or AKAI...

Sill question, probably, but if a digital recorder has an SCSI capability, does that mean that I'll be able to burn my own CDs from that recorder straight (leaving out mastering questions etc)? Thanks!

If I'm using a 16-bit multitrack recorders which has 20 or 24 bit DA/AD converters, is that a good thing? i.e. Why should that matter since the recording is going to be 16 bit in any case? HelP, please!
