I have a basement studio with a 7' ceiling, w/exposed beams and tons of wires/cables/ductwork running all over, plus an open stairwell that turns 90 degrees halfway up and two small, old windows, one of which has the drier duct going out of it. Is there a way to soundproof this effectively...

I just picked up a Tascam DA-20mkII DAT recorder on the cheap, but the fellow had no manual nor remote. Any help in locating these items would be appreciated. The Tascam website was no help. thanks!
