Plug your 57 into the amp w/ XLR to 1/4" cord and mic the amp with whatever mic or mics you want and record. I have done this and it works great. Cheers David

Do you have a bad cord from the pre to the computer? Or at least out of the pre? That could cause nasty noise. Hope this helps.

It looks just like my FMR RNC. Maybe they have a typo in the description. The price seems right too. Hope this helps. David
