    I use the MIDI over USB and had to set the MIDI out over USB using the "SET" feature and MIDI OUT to ON I have the Nektar Impact LX88+ and I had no MIDI over USB until I did this.

    Double Wall OSB issue

    While double drywall is often used for sound insulation, it is usually for sound originating on the outside, protecting the inside. I would investigate adding some sound absorption on the inside walls to cut down reflected noise. That drywall will be dandy at reflecting sound.
