Been working on this one for awhile and wondering how it sounds to fresh ears...going for that big low vintage taurus bass pedal drone at times , but having a hard time keeping them in control. Vocals are a struggle for me ...still working on those. Used a old line 6 variax 500 for the sitar...
Wearing my love for Pink Floyd on my sleeve for this one 😆. My buddy wrote the lyrics, Indid the rest, except drums , which I put together from Simon Phillips drum loop collection

Just finished tracking this one , 1st mix , tried to cop the x files show theme on the intro with guitar, as well as close encounters vibe on the outro...Im sure mix is wack, but my ears are shot , so fresh feedback welcomed!
Wrapping up a song collab with a lyric writing friend...ears are pretty burnt now, but think Im not digging the drum sound so far on this...as usual all feedback much appreciated!
Started this one yesterday and finished this morning, lots of guitar synth courtesy of my vintage ehx micro synth pedal , and ehx mel9. Was shooting for classic early 70s Floyd Meddle era Gilmour sound, used Big Muff and Tape echo on my pod go. Bass is my Squire classiv 70s vibe thru pod go...
Recently decided to try out a Harley Benton take on a Mosrite . Picked up the MR-modern. Have been reading a lot of good things about these budget friendly guitars , and was not disappointed. Recorded this pretty much right after unboxing (slight truss rod adjustment/tuining) . Pretty fun...
Here is a new one I'm working on, possibly aa little over ambitious backing vocal for the chorus for my ability ;>). Wondering how it sounds to fresh ears so far...
MY friend wrote some lyrics for me, so I attempted to make a song out of this...used my Martin acoustic primarily on this, solo bit in the middle is a takemine nylon string classical guitar. Bass guitar used was squire classic 70s vibe p-bass. synth sounds where the martin thru a ehx string 9...
Here is a thing Ive been working on recently ...lots of tracks , not sure if they are mixing well...particularly a faux organ track using a ehx c9 pedal, and several string/cello/mellotron tracks at end courtesy of a mel9 pedal. Thoughts/feedback much appreciated...
Collabed with a friend on this, he wrote the lyrics and I did the music, guitar, bass guitar and vocals, drums are from Simon Phillips drum loop collection. 1st vocal song I used my new bass on, Squire classic 70s vibe p bass. That thing really is fun to play, neck is amazing for a bass at that...
Picked up a new bass guitar for recording. Its a Squier Classic vibe 70's P-Bass. I really like it a lot so far, the neck feels and plays really nice, I'm no Bass guitar expert, but this thing seems like a lot of bang for the buck, and I actually preferred it to the Fender player series P-bass...
Collabed on a song with friend. He wrote the lyrics; I did the rest. Its called "Hypocritic Oath" . Wondering how the mix sounds to fresh ears, thinking guitar solo may be too loud?
ok, another new one where I attempt to sing here is a 1st mixdown, many stabs/comps at vocals , I don't know... giving my ears a break for a bit and looking for some feedback.
Singing:sick: is so rough...
Used my old electro harmonix micro synth pedal on this , as well as ehx mel 9, and a boss sy-1 pedal. Kinda trying for a Toolish vibe....its a bit of a slow burner...All guitars and Bass guitar thru a Pod GO
Pretty weird one here, got tired of trying to redo my crappy vocals on my other recent song, so decided to use some nonsense lines from a poem I wrote, run it thru the old text to speech generator, and lay down some grooves around it...kind of a wacky experimental thing...was fun anyways, and...
