So why does this keep happening to me?? Is this a compression problem??

I have lots of compression. The chorus is a separated track from the rest. But in both cases i have 2 compressors on the vocals, do you think i should lower my mix before the chorus?

So why does this keep happening to me?? Is this a compression problem??

So, as i was mixing and recording, i do both at the same time, dont know if thats correct, i came with a problem. My verse part is much louder than my chorus part, like in the chorus the voice just seems to go lower in volume and power, and i can't even touch anything or else it will peak on the...

Whats actually a bus? And how to properly create one?

My DAW is Logic Pro X, and i usually use NI, Waves and Fabfilter plugins. The main question there is this. I have 2 tracks with vocals. One of them is doing the lead vocal, the second one is doing the backing vocal. I've made a bus on the 1st track which is the leading vocal, that bus contains a...

Whats actually a bus? And how to properly create one?

Thanks for the answer, thing is. I've tried doing some buses on my mixes, and there's a problem which i find very annoying. Lets imagine this scenario, i have 2 different vocal tracks, and i want the same delay for both of them. I create a bus in one of the tracks with that delay and i input...

Whats actually a bus? And how to properly create one?

So, i've been wondering for quite a while how to use this busses and also whats the difference between a bus and a auxiliary track??? Usually when i need to put, lets say a reverb, i put it in the inserts and everything for processing i do on the inserts, so why is the need to use a bus or...

    Clear, Bright and Powerful Vocals.

Yes helps a lot, though its a little harsh when you're saying its a all in 1 plugin and here i am with Universal Audio and Waves plugins, lots of them trying to get to a similar result!!!! XD

How do you think that my cover song is doing compared to its original?

So, im making a cover song, and i did everything from scratch on logic pro X with Komplete 10. It's still not over although i already have all the instrumental but im having some hard time with the vocals, and i want to know what do you think of the mix so far. I'll leave it down below so you...

What's so special about the first one? Didn't seemed so difficult to "emulate" o.O

    Clear, Bright and Powerful Vocals.

But man his voice is full of autotune. You can hear that 10000 miles away. And i've heard him singing live and stuff and its not as good as it is when he records. Not nearly. Thing is, he is a great producer for what he does. And my voice does not have autotune but it does have indeed Melodyne. ^^

What gain should i use when recording my vocals?

Hi im not new here but i don't come here often, just from time to time. And i got a question. So, lets say i create a song, with lots of midi tracks and audio tracks, all of them are in perfect harmony with each other and the Master meter is hitting 0 db's, meaning i got all the tracks...

    Clear, Bright and Powerful Vocals.

Hi guys, im watching a guy on Youtube named NateWantstoBattle, and he has some awesome mixing techniques not just with his vocals, but with the whole song in general. I have a home studio and i record with a Apollo Twin Duo with the microphone TLM103 by Neumman and was hoping to get to his level...

How to get your vocals to sound fatter and more powerful like a pop comercial track?

That was useful, thanks, i knew that i was wrong on putting that much reverb. Anyways as much as i try i seem that i can never get as good as the original. Not as a singer, that's not my point here. Im talking about the sounds and effects. That counts to the delay you were talking and to the...
