I know that midi only transmits data...what I'm trying to figure out is if there is any other way to direct sound directly out to my monitors instead of having to make an au9dio track. I need to see if there is input monitoring on my card.
I have my Fantom X hooked up to my PC and I'm using it through Sonar. Problem is that now I find myself always having to make a seperate audio track and having to put the input echo on everytime I want to hear my midi. Back on Sonar 5 I don't remember ever having to do that. What makes it...

Im not using both soundcards at once and I'm not using the monitors and I put my latency down to 44khz I think that's what you meant and it goes alittle better. do you have AIM or MSN Messenger?
Well I used to use it with my SB Live but then I couldn't record lyrics over my tracks so I went out and bought a SB eXtigy. But now everytime I try to record in Sonar my mic channel pics up the music from the other channel. But the thing is I have headphones on why I record so it's not picking...
