I'm recording a song with tempo changes. Normally I use the metronome when recording but how can I use this for tempo changes? Can I get the tempo to change dynamically by itself or can I get the tempo to be different after the bars of the other tempo.
That was an INCREDIBLE article!!!
However, I need information more on soundproofing and the article specifically states that sound isolation is beyond the scope of the article.
Greetings, this is most in the section of the forum. I hope I'm not asking stupid questions.
I have a choice of two rooms I can turn into studios.
One is a 12x12x8 feet. This room has three walls of solid concrete. It's a basement but there are other rooms next to it which people rent. The...
When I'm in edit view and playing a file sometimes the white cursor disappears. This doesn't happen in multitrack even when using 5 tracks. How comes this happens to me only in edit view when I need it most most see where in the waveform I am as the audio plays.
Indeed, I have found your suggestion to be most useful. This creates somewhat of an irony with your name king_of_fools, though. I really would rather Audition to be smart enough to handle the loop the way I wanted, but alas, one goal and many roads. Thanks King.
Well I could do that but then I have to do that every time the loop loops. That would be tedious. It's like the loop is, let's say, 2.5 secs. I want the loop to start over at the 2 seconds mark and the last .5 secs of the loop to oerlap the first .5 secs of the loop. Where the last .5 secs is...
This might seem stupid but I'm using a loop that was created in Fruity Loops. It has a crash at the end of the loops that fades a bit. When i use this in Adobe Audition the loops doesn't loop properly unless I cut off the fade. Is there a way to make to loop overlap so that the crash's fade...
Well the way I came across it was when gating drums. If the gate opening too much because of bleed then a specific freq range could be used to trigger the gate. I think it's also refereed to as a frequency conscious noise gate, I think.
I've been seeing some stuff online about multiband noise gates but I haven't actually found one as a plugin, directX. Does one exist and do multiband noise gates really sense to use?
I know this might sound stupid but when I'm doing my mix it sonds great at reasonable volume but it very different at quiter levels.
I just want to know is there something that s usually done about this or is it just trial an error to get a good compromise for a variety of levels?
I'm using a Delta1010LT and I want to use mics on the channels so I've been looking into some 8 channel pres that I could run 8 mics, XLR into and get XLR or TRS outs. So far I've seen:
Nandy PRA-8 Mic Preamp
SM Audio PR-8 II 8 Channel Mic Preamp
What u think?
