Little prob.
Okay...I have the Yamaha MT3X. I record tracks 1 + 2 alright, by plugging my SM-57 into the Mic/Line in socket for the track. Then I come to the third track. I plug the mic into the Line in socket, note, not Mic/Line in, and try to record same as b4. But I hardly records...I comes out very... -

Ask the experts! (You!): 414 or 424?
Do I get the 414 mkII or the 424 mk III? I'm on a budget of just over $500 and thats for a '58 too. I'm a beginner, and I know the 424's better, but is it worth the extra money? I know there is a review of the 424 mk III against the 424 mk II, but what about the 414?
