I'm trying to record a demo cd of my songs by myself. I'm going to play each instrument over one another with a multitrack so it sounds like a band. But i need a good high quality multitrack. Is the Zoom r16 good? Or Zoom in general?
I'm sick of the twangy sound of my cheap little tascam 4 track. I need a nice studio quality sound with a lot of balls.
Note: I'm using direct input because I cant mic my amp since I live in an apartment. It would be way too loud.
