Hey everybody.
I'm in a position, with the equipment at my disposal, where I have two 12-track mixers to record a song with all instruments in one run, however I only have 2 track inputs so I'd have to mix a group of instruments together forever.
So, this obviously leads to minimal overall...
OH GOD this works so well. Thanks. I was gonna go to radio shack and get some electric cleaner contact cleaner there, but I went to an auto parts store cuz my dad said they sold it cheaper. I got a 11 ounce can of it for 7 bucks, CRC brand, and my knobs are flying smooth now... Works great.
K sorry about that. I've got 4 microphones into the XLR mic in on my mixer. Im taking that submix to another mixer. the second mixers XLR's are mic inputs, however my first mixer has a switch by the XLR main outs to toggle between the +4 and mic level.
also. It turns out all the 1/4 cables I...
is taking the knobs off and putting them in the dishwasher, (in some sort of net or something of the sort, {id find a way}) is that such a sin. It could be so much faster and easier that way.
Hi, again.
Im sitting here with a mixer, of course with seemingly countless knobs, (only because now Im cleaning them) anyways, Im here with my mixer, repetitively turning these pots to clean them, and I was wondering, and hoping, if there was anything I could do to clean them easier, faster...
Hey. Quick Question. . . .
I've got a 8 channel mixer with my drums going to another mixer as a submix. I have the option of using RCA, 1/4" or XLR, and Im wondering which one would give me the best sound quality. Thanks.

I've got 7 mics to work with on my set: 1 snare, 1 bass, 3 toms, and 2 overheads.
There nice mics, and made for their specific drum, but Im not sure which microphones...
Hi.
I've spent more time than I probably should have, learning about MIDI. I understand the big words and all, and I know what it does, but I still don't know how I would use it.
I have a Yamaha keyboard with midi, a Yamaha Drum machine with midi and a Digital Recording Studio with Midi. But...
Hey there.
Im not exactly a neub, but I am relatively new to the whole DAW business.
Im trying to find out if I can use a computer with what I have already in order to get individual tracks to be a bit more flexible with me.
I came across a Boss BR-1180 digital recording module, and it is...
