Like eq first then compression and maybe limiter?
how do i get that studio commercial sound?
that larger than life full sound?
thanks

I use Reaper... and obviously I mix in reaper. but I want a desktop unit that i can physically turn the knobs and slide the volume controls and have it respectively controll the digital reaper mixer..... what do I buy to accomplish this?:spank:
What do you guys use for your Reaper set up. What Rack effects? What amps? What Interfaces.
I use Maudio studiophile AV40s
a ux2 interface with Gearbox and PODFARM
and thats about it.... but It gets the job done.
looking to dabble with signal processing.
What do you guys use?:spank:
Hi guys.
I'm a newbie that has only ever recorded with line6 plugins and a line6 interface but would like to learn more about rack effects and combinations and figured a good way to start would be to ask all of you experienced folk what you use in your set up and how you use it.
thanks

What would you do to the vocals on these tracks and would you bring up volume on any of the instruments? I'm new to mixing and mastering. Any help would be great.

Are there any really great plugins I can slap on a vocal track to make it pop? I know the secret is a good vocal take and a good mic but I was curious if there was anything out there that could shine it up even more.
also...this is kind of a stupid question but...
I play hard rock and...
been around for a while just recently started recording at home.
these mp3's are of the entire band including our live drummer.

Ok so,
Ive been in a band off and on for the better part of 10 years and in all that time I've pretty much made recording myself a hobby.. Started on Cakewalk guitar tracks years ago and I was hooked.
So even though Ive dabbled with it, I only ever recorded myself and used what was readily...
