They're amazing. The stereo imaging is beautiful!
Another thing that I am really impressed with is the quality that they retain at whisper volumes. Imaging and E.Q. on my rokits would drop off significantly at from say 85db to 70db (i totally just made up those numbers...but you get my point I hope )

I've been saving a monitor fund to the side for a couple years to use when I felt I could justify some serious monitors. I was going to initially get Solo6Be's. That had been the plan for about year up until a few weeks ago. After reading dozens of reviews and comparisons I came to the conclusion that I couldn't go wrong either way. BUT the CMS series apparently was designed with the not so great environment in mind. Also, that grand I saved off getting the Solo's can be used towards the Bill Me Later fund that the Macbook showed up on

But yeah. I think I'm done spending for quiet some time. Now that I've got it all out of my system.
...but... I did sell off all my old equipment when I switched to Mac. US-1800 (for a Komplete Audio 6),outboard/etc. (for ITB), old/extra mics (kept my SM81's, 57, and a e602ii) and MIDI controllers, and amps (with the exception of my little peavey vypyr that I write on)...
maybe that will all need to be replaced jk, jk
