How many people on here have day jobs and still make time to create your tunes? Day Jobs?

By day I am a kick ass CAD Operator / Mapper / Surveyors Assistant. I love it. I work way too much sometimes but i always make time to rock out. Anyone Else?

By day, I'm a freelance computer programmer and/or data/business analyst, as required. At evenings and weekends I'm a relatively new dad and a very amateur recording artist.

Tech support for packaged molecules and equipment. I usually get fired from my day jobs before I get around to quitting!

I am indeed. My first programming module at university revolved around Scheme (a dialect of Lisp). A later module used Haskell, which I thought was another dialect of Scheme, but looking now, I think it isn't, but it is another functional language.

At university, I really liked functional and logic programming (the latter we used in an AI course). Right now, though, I'm a C# developer.

I have no time for recording anymore. Transferred jobs last spring and I'm on the road most every other week.

Doesn't help that I tore apart my studio computer and haven't put it back together. Plus, started rehearsing with an old friend to do some gigs in the next few months.

I own a vacuum cleaner sales and service store. I am very good at what I do but prefer playing music whenever possible. I was a fulltime musician for 20 years and made a really good starving at it. I got tired of never knowing what my income would be and tired of avoiding the landlord if the months take was crappy. Basically, I'm still self-employed but now I have employees and my income is more consistent.

    It's all good.
    Play on!
